Why current platforms fall short
The pain today
- Generic classifieds bury firearms and competition gear behind blanket Anti-2A restrictions.
- No signal on trust—anonymous usernames and reused stock photos create too much risk.
- Zero match context makes coordinating pickups impossible, shipping is often the only option.
- Choose between fees and paywalls, or forum interfaces not intended as marketplaces
How Swap Meet fixes it
- Purpose-built policies that respect lawful competition gear and highlight verified listings.
- Timestamped photos, optional ID verification, and match history badges keep scammers out.
- Match-aware listings let squads coordinate swaps before wheels ever roll to the range.
- Fee free for the forseeable future and to the avereage user, and a UX experience built for the task
How it works
Six simple steps to move gear faster—whether you are clearing bench space or sourcing your next match setup.
Create your identity
Your Shooters Hub accolades power your seller reputation. Add optional ID verification when you want extra trust.
List gear
Snap photos, add the UPC to auto-fill details, and choose whether it is a personal listing or posted from your vendor catalog.
Verify
Timestamped photos, serial checks, and secure ID verification boost trust and surface badges on your listings.
Discover matches
Listings connect to the matches you are attending so fellow shooters can plan swaps or pickups before they travel.
Deal done
Meet at the match, coordinate local pickup, ship, or trade—whatever fits both sides of the deal.
Wrap it up
Mark the transaction complete, log what changed hands, and leave feedback so the next swap is even smoother.
Vendor integrations
WooCommerce auto-sync
Connect your existing catalog and let Swap Meet handle inventory, pricing, and availability updates for match weekends.
Match packing lists
Tag what you are hauling to each match so competitors know what will be on the table before they leave the house.
Pre-order & reserve
Allow shooters to reserve items for pickup on-site or request specific gear so you never guess what to bring.
Club visibility
Clubs can highlight supporting vendors and surface their gear alongside personal listings and WTB threads.
Safety, trust, and policy
Swap Meet leans hard into transparency. Lawful gear only, clear expectations, and moderation that keeps the community safe and fair.
- Only lawful items—federal, state, and local regulations apply to every listing.
- Timestamped photos and optional ID verification keep listings real and accountable.
- Buyers and sellers can post WTB/WTT alongside for-sale listings to keep the community conversation moving.
- Community-first moderation keeps swaps fair, safe, and on-target.

Swap Meet FAQ
The essentials for shooters, clubs, and vendors getting ready to sell smarter.
Is Swap Meet live yet?
The system is in active build-out and will launch once the rest of The Shooters Hub platform is ironed out. Keep an eye on your in-app alerts for the rollout window.
Can I list firearms?
Yes—lawful items are welcome. Follow every applicable federal, state, and local rule, and involve an FFL whenever your jurisdiction or deal requires it.
How do you keep listings legit?
Swap Meet leans on timestamped photos, optional ID verification, match history badges, and verified serial-number shots for relevant gear so buyers see real signal before reaching out.
Do vendors need special tooling?
WooCommerce support is live, the public API ships at launch, and connectors or plugins for other platforms will follow as demand requires.
Will there be selling fees?
Swap Meet itself is zero-fee. To keep it sustainable we may cap high-volume listings, introduce vendor memberships, or offer optional boosted placements for large catalogs.
How do trades and WTB posts work?
The system compares your For Sale and Want to Buy posts against nearby shooters with the opposite goals so you can line up trades and pickups before match day.
Can I list 3D printed items?
Yes. List them under a vendor account, mark them as 3D printed, and link the original design if it is not your own. Services are welcome too as long as the description is clear.
