Built because closed tools wouldn’t. Made to connect, not confine.
I was tired of juggling spreadsheets, scattered calendars, and locked-down systems. The Shooters Hub exists so shooters, match directors, clubs, and developers can work from one living hub—without being forced into a walled garden.
Who this is for
Shooters
Find matches fast. Filter to align with your schedule and travel plans, choose between multiple options to view and export, and when you’re done shooting enjoy better results and leaderboard options.
Match Directors
Advertise matches, customize modern match pages, leaderboards, and calendars inside The Shooters Hub or on your own site—without hiring a dev. Automate the boring parts and keep focus on the firing line.
Clubs & Series Admins
Customize season hubs, showcase sponsors, and publish results your way, including customizable leaderboards that fit your season rules—with embeddable modules for existing sites.
Developers
Build what your community needs, starting with available open-source modules and plugins, or using open, well-documented APIs—designed with generous default rate limits.
From spreadsheets to a living hub
This started after too many nights wrangling season leaderboards and scouring multiple platforms, spreadsheets, club calendars, etc. while planning trips. There was no single place to punch in a location I was going to be and a set of dates, filter by discipline, and instantly see what was happening. Without an existing open ecosystem, match directors, clubs, and series admins kept re-building the same tools to generate their own calendars, leaderboards, member lists, etc. Time wasted reinventing the wheel, and ultimately shooters missed windows thanks to not knowing where to look.
Instead of waiting for closed platforms to change, I decided to build something better—flexible where others are rigid, open where others are closed, and designed to connect whatever you already use.
“Hub” isn’t just a name—it’s the promise to keep bridging the best tools in competitive shooting rather than forcing anyone into a single ecosystem.
The frustrations
- Locked-down platforms that refuse to provide APIs or robust export options.
- Walled gardens that force you into the whole ecosystem or nothing.
- Blame-shifting between vendors instead of real integrations.
- Premium tiers for features that ought to be free.
- Clubs/Series constantly reinventing calendars, leaderboards, and member lists from scratch.
Our solutions
- Open APIs so developers and clubs can connect, extend, and analyze freely.
- A user-friendly match finder that makes searching by location and date simple.
- Customizable season and club pages with leaderboards, calendars, and member tools.
- Embeddable modules that drop into existing websites with little to no coding.
- Respect for privacy while opening as much public information as possible.
- Tools that integrate wherever possible: export scores, subscribe to calendars, embed results, and more.
Our ethos
Free first
The core platform stays free for shooters, clubs, and seasons. You shouldn’t pay just to participate.
Shooter & MD first
Help directors advertise, showcase sponsors, and make it easy for shooters to find and return—directly, embedded, or exportable.
APIs with responsibility
Generous default limits with optional paid bumps for heavy users. The goal is cost coverage, not lock-in.
Premium only where necessary
Some high-cost features (e.g., satellite imagery, drive-time filtering) may be member-only—think ~$1/mo or $10/yr.
Sponsors in the spotlight
Clubs and matches can showcase sponsors for free. Site-wide sponsors help offset global costs. Sponsors will be required to create a free sponsor account to give The Shooters Hub license to their assets before any match, club, or series is allowed to select them as a sponsor.
License & attribution
Tools powered by The Shooters Hub should display a small “Powered by The Shooters Hub” link. If you’d like to use them without attribution, reach out—we’re open to agreements.
The Roadmap
The Shooters Hub evolves constantly. Here’s a look at what’s shipping next to keep the platform open, helpful, and integrated.
Vendor integrations
Direct connections with apparel, trophy, and award vendors so MDs can order what they need and shooters get quality merch—another spoke on the Hub.
Integrated forums
Each match, club, and series has a built-in forum, plus a global space—because community starts with proper discourse.
Swap Meet
A community marketplace to list, discover, and coordinate meet-ups at matches you already attend. Vendor catalogs can integrate; plugins for WooCommerce are planned. Preview the Swap Meet teaser.
Matchbook builder
Tied into the Chimera dope card system so MDs and shooters can quickly build, share, and use digital matchbooks.
Live scoring & registration
Long-term support for live scoring, registration, and more—while staying focused on filling gaps and integrating wherever possible.
